Rosemary Nichols
About Rosemary Nichols:
“I’ve had a lifelong hobby of observing people and nature. Although I didn’t take up fine art and painting until adulthood as a hobby, I enjoyed attempting to create a home environment that was visually pleasant. I learned to sew and worked at every craft project that was trending at the time. As a psychiatric nurse, I used art media which was a nonthreatening and nonverbal way of assessing and treating certain emotional problems. Throughout my personal life as well as professional career, creating in all media has given me an outlet for expression, relaxation, and enjoyment. Teaching a beginner’s watercolor class here at Highland Springs continues to provide satisfaction as I share what I’ve learned."
